|Denholm Reynholm's father|
- "No, he changed. After his father died. I don't think he ever fully recovered"
- —Richmond on Denholm's reaction to his father's death
The father of Denholm Reynholm passed away in 2001 due to a smoking-related illness. It is likely that he fought in World War II, as he owned a service revolver which would eventually become a family heirloom.
His funeral was attended by his wife, Denholm and Richmond Avenal, among other people. During the funeral, his wife received a CD by the heavy-metal rock band, Cradle of Filth, by Richmond, which greatly angered Denholm, so much so that Richmond was demoted from being second-in-command of Reynholm Industries to a worker in the basement.
