Joel Edward McHale (b. November 20, 1971) is an American actor, comedian and television personality who played the role of Roy Trenneman in the pilot of the American adaption of the British sitcom The IT Crowd which was not picked up by NBC, nor did any other networks show interest. It is unknown if McHale will reprise his role in a new American adaption of The IT Crowd.
McHale's other acting credits include Spiderman 2, The Informant, Open Season and Robot Chicken, as well as hosting the E! comedy show The Soup.
