The IT Crowd is a British BAEFTA award-winning sitcom produced for Channel 4 starring Chris O'Dowd, RIchard Ayoade and Katherine Parkinson. It follows the lives of three IT workers lurking in the abandoned basement of Reynholm Industries, Roy (O'Dowd), the slobby comic book-reading Irishman whose idea of an ideal night in is Lasar Quest followed by pornography, Maurice Moss (Ayoade), the uber-geek, who is sent into a fit of hysterics at the sight of an incorrectly-installed circuit board, and Jen Barber (Parkinson), the opposite of both of them, who knows nothing about comp-uters.
The show is written and directed by creator Graham Linehan, whose past work has included Black Books, Father Ted and Big Train. All eighteen episodes have also been produced by Ash Atalla, who has worked on other sitcoms such as The Office in the past.

Maurice Moss (more commonly referred to as just Moss) is a worker in the IT Department of Reynholm Industries. He is the most hard working of the staff in the IT Department, and is also the most experienced and the most capable of doing his job well. He puts a lot of effort into his job, however, he does not get the credit which he deserves.
